BOTTOM OILY-WATER DRAINAGE – TOO

THE TOO DRAINAGE PROCESS

Water settles below the hydrocarbon product
Accumulated water naturally settles at the bottom of the storage tank and must be drained periodically.

Controlled drainage is initiated by the operator

The TOO valve allows accumulated water to be drained without continuous manual monitoring.

Automatic shutoff when hydrocarbon arrives

When hydrocarbon reaches the calibrated float, the valve closes automatically and helps prevent product discharge.

THE TOR DRAINAGE PROCESS

Rainwater accumulates on the floating roof
Rainwater collected on the floating roof must be drained to prevent excessive load and operational risk.

Rainwater drains through the roof drain system
The TOR valve allows normal rainwater drainage from the floating roof drainage line.

Automatic shutoff when hydrocarbon enters the drain line
If hydrocarbon enters the roof drain line, the TOR valve closes automatically and helps prevent product discharge.
